First Hotel Stadt - Harnosand

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect - right in the heart of the city center, close to the sea, and with amazing views of the river. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing me to check-in late at 3AM. The breakfast area was lovely and the breakfast itself was delicious. the free wifi was very good and there was plenty of on-street parking available.

Great reception staff, an excellent (independent to hotel) restaurant, ok breakfast, very good free wifi, nice location, plenty of on street parking, relatively quiet provided good sleeps in comfortable bed.

Guest rooms are in need of refurbishment, the lady is showing severe signs of age. While comfortable and clean, no longer attractive.

The hotel has a very central location beside the quay in the small, pretty city of Haernoesand. The staff members, particularly Katerina at the front desk, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with information and tips about what to see and do, where to eat and other information about the local area. All the staff members also spoke excellent English. (One staff member was in fact from the uk and others had worked in the uk.)

The hotel did not have a restaurant for anything but breakfast (though the breakfast buffet was excellent) and the hotel is clearly in need of renovation. The rooms were tidy but the hotel obviously had not been renovated for many years.

The staff was friendly and helpful, with a great reception. The hotel is easy to find and well located in relation to the rest of the town and nearby highway. The breakfast offered a good selection and the views from the hotel were amazing. The rooms were simple but comfortable, with a desk for a good night's sleep.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location, close to the sea and in the heart of the city. It's perfect for those who love the beach and want an easy access to other neighborhoods. the breakfast is tasty and has a good variety of choices. the rooms are quite spacious and clean.

The hotel is old and needs renovation badly. the carpets are stained, and the decoration seems to be from the 80s.

Our room was quite dated and uninviting. The furniture looked worn and the bathroom was not properly fixed to the wall, which made it dangerous to use.
